Independent Playtime: refers to a designated period each day when a child plays alone, free from adult direction, sibling interference, or technology. It is highly beneficial for childhood development, as it fosters stronger attention spans, creativity, and self-regulation…

Circle Time: Songs, reading, calendar updates, puzzles, board games, small-group social development, weather discussions and reviewing the day's events…

Outdoor Activity: (Weather-permitting) Dedicated time for fresh air, physical activity, running, gross motor activities and playing on playground equipment. While our main daycare playground is located in the backyard, we love taking advantage of nice weather! When conditions permit, our teachers plan nature walks, picnics, and other outdoor learning activities at nearby parks, kid-friendly trails, malls and community playgrounds…

Nap Time: The Nap room dims, soft music plays, and children rest or sleep on cots/ playpen. Non-nappers typically do quiet table activities…

Craft Time: Arts and crafts, sensory tables, or foundational literacy/math activities…

Lunch: Mealtimes are usually capped at 20–30 minutes to align with short attention spans. Children are encouraged to self-feed, pour their own water, and clear their plates. Enforcing a strict tree nut-free policy at all times.

Close Time: Pickup time is a huge transition for kids—they’re shifting from a structured, social environment back to family mode, and they’re often tired, or just overwhelmed with big emotions. Be patience, give the child time to wind down.
